Job Summary

Immediate opening for a school-based social worker in an elementary school in the vicinity of Huntley IL. Youll work part time 8am-3:45pm about 20 hours a week with a caseload of children in a self-contained autism classroom. Rates are negotiable based on experience and start at $45/hour. *K-5 building *Caseload is with kids on the spectrum in a self-contained autism classroom *Two other social workers on staff for team support Qualifications: Masters degree in social work PEL Endorsement: A Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Support Personnel endorsement specifically for school social work. Field Experience: Completion of at least 600 hours of supervised school-based field work (internship). Licensure Exams: Passing the Illinois school social work content exam. Post-MSW Alternative: Individuals already holding an MSW without school specialization can complete a post-masters school social work certificate program.
