Job Title: FinOps Engineer (Cloud Cost Optimization)
Location: WA (Local Only)

Job Summary:
Looking for a strong FinOps Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS & Azure cost optimization. This role sits at the intersection of engineering finance and leadership-driving cloud cost efficiency forecasting and optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Own cloud cost management (AWS & Azure) including RI & Savings Plans
Build forecasting models for cloud spend and budgeting
Implement cost anomaly detection & optimization strategies
Partner with engineering teams to drive FinOps best practices
Present cost insights and recommendations to leadership
Manage tagging cost allocation and chargeback models

Required Skills:

5 years in cloud operations with FinOps focus
Strong experience in AWS & Azure cost management tools
Expertise in RI/SP strategy & utilization optimization
Experience with cost forecasting & anomaly detection
Strong communication with executive stakeholders
Python/SQL for cost analysis & automation

Nice to Have:

FinOps Certification (FOCUS or equivalent)
AWS/Azure certifications
