Job Title: AMG Medical Assistant
Location (On-site Remote or Hybrid): Farmington Hills MI (onsite)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Working hours: MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 8:00-4:30
Total hours: 40
Job Summary:
- Assists with the examination and treatment of patients/participants under the direction of a physician.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.
- Interviews patients/participants measures vital signs and records information on patients/participants charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients/participants.
- Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone maintaining records and filing.
- Performs basic materials management functions such as ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider certification.
Complexity of Work:
- Within scope of job requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience if applicable.
