BMT(14 & 15W) - Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
Experience: Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred. Chemo certification is NOT required

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)
Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult)
Amyloidosis
Aplastic Anemia
Chronic Leukemia
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia
Hodgkins Lymphoma
Multiple Myeloma
Myelodysplastic Syndrome
Myeloproliferative Disorders
Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells.
Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin.
Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling parent or an unrelated donor.
CAR-T Therapy
Certifications Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Certifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
COMPUTERIZED CHARTING
EPIC experience required
Skills Required:
MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
Telemetry monitoring
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Use of Rapid Response Teams
Feeding tube care and management
Blood product administration
Central line blood draw
Peripheral line care/management
PICC line management
Nasal cannula administration
If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract you may be scheduled for days nights or a combination of both depending on the departments needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
