Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join a high-performing cardiovascular team in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cardiac catheterization procedures and be comfortable working alongside physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and equipment for procedures
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment within the cath lab
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes during procedures
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures and patient data
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment as needed
- Adhere to all safety infection control and radiation protection protocols
Required Experience & Skills:
- Prior experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity fast-paced environments
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care
Qualifications:
- RCIS ARRT or equivalent certification preferred
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Active state license (if applicable)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
