This role includes leading designs for production supporting manufacturing and quality activities and contributing to product development and standardization. The position works cross-functionally with engineering production suppliers and customers while applying best practices in design testing and continuous successful candidates responsibilities will include:Design and release electrical systems for HVAC products including drawings schematics and Bills of Materials Review and evaluate designs to ensure quality compliance and timely delivery Support manufacturing quality supply chain and customer service throughout the product lifecycle Collaborate with internal teams suppliers and customers to support design production and service activities Lead and implement design improvements standardization and engineering changes (ECO/ECN) Troubleshoot electrical and control systems and support field service teams Contribute to design for manufacturing including panel layouts and wiring harnesses Develop and maintain CAD models schematics and wiring diagramsThe ideal candidate for this position will have: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Electronic or Computer Engineering/Technology Eligible for registration with EGM or CTTAM (or equivalent) 3 years of experience in HVAC or large equipment electrical design and development Strong knowledge of PLC/DDC systems electrical controls and communication protocols (BACnet Modbus etc.) Experience with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks) BOMs MRP systems and engineering change processes Understanding of industry standards (UL CE) and product lifecycle management Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work hands-on with electrical systems (up to 600V AC) safely Valid passport for North America travel Should this excellent opportunity interest you please submit your resume including salary Limited hires on the basis of merit and is strongly committed to equity and diversity.
