Job Title: Senior Executive-Logistics & Custom clearance
Location: Chennai
Job Overview:
The Senior Executive – Logistics & CC manages logistics analytics and commercial operations including
MIS reporting performance tracking and cost analysis. The role ensures efficient Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
processes accurate data management and timely coordination with vendors and internal teams to drive
operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and automate daily weekly and monthly MIS reports using Excel Power BI Tableau
and ERP tools.
• Analyse logistics data to identify trends inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities and provide
actionable insights.
• Monitor shipment performance SLA adherence vehicle utilization route efficiency and transit
times.
• Track transportation and warehousing costs and prepare variance analysis against budgets.
• Develop dashboards to ensure real-time visibility of key logistics metrics.
• Highlight delays bottlenecks and exceptions and support data-driven decision-making.
• Support audits business planning SOP development and process improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy consistency and proper documentation across systems.
• Manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle from Purchase Order creation to final
payment.
• Ensure timely processing of POs invoice verification and payment execution.
• Coordinate with vendors procurement logistics and finance teams for smooth transaction flow.
• Validate invoices against POs contracts and GRNs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Track payment status and resolve discrepancies delays and vendor queries.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain Logistics Finance or a related field
• 3–6 years of experience in logistics analytics or commercial/P2P operations
• Strong proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Power BI/Tableau and ERP systems
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration
