This opportunity offers a full-time career-oriented position with our growing and dynamic team of environmental professionals our St. Johns NL this role youll have the ability to collaborate with EXPs team in St. Johns and across the Atlantic region on some of Eastern Canadas largest and most exciting projects!
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning field work and reporting environmental investigation projects (Phase I II ESAs Detailed Site Investigation Remediation).
- Groundwater and surface water sampling and monitoring.
- Field testing monitoring and supervision of remediation projects.
- Supervision of subsurface investigations.
- Assessment of sites for hazardous materials.
- Indoor air quality testing
- Coordinating fieldwork.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Four years of relevant experience in a related field.
- Diploma from a recognized technical school.
- Association registration or eligibility for registration ( CET etc.)
- Familiarity with Environmental Regulations in Atlantic Canada an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to ork both outside and in an office environment. - Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills using word processing spreadsheet and graphics applications such as MS Word Excel AutoCAD GIS.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
- Must hacve a reliable way to getting to job sites.
