You will combine strong technical accounting skills with commercial acumen exceptional attention to detail and the confidence to engage with both finance and non-finance position offers exposure to complex development projects and the opportunity to influence decision-making through high-quality financial insights forecasting and compliance to the General Manager Finance Development your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Accounting and reporting for allocated development projects including project and general ledger administration and reconciliations Preparing and updating commercial feasibility models and reports Conducting regular balance sheet reconciliations investigating and resolving discrepancies Preparation review and submission of Development BAS (Business Activity Statements) Supporting the Finance Manager with audit preparation documentation and auditor queries Ensuring compliance with accounting standards internal controls and regulatory requirements Preparing and collating documentation to support internal and external audits Building strong working relationships with Development Managers internal teams and key stakeholders Providing timely financial insights identifying risks and escalating issues as required Contributing to budgets forecasts long-term business plans and profitability analysis Supporting continuous improvement across financial reporting systems and processesWho You AreThe successful candidate will have the following:A completed relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting or FinanceCA or CPA qualificationFundamental knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingA minimum of 3 years experience in management reporting financial reporting financial planning and analytics or a related fieldDemonstrated experience working effectively with both finance and nonfinance stakeholdersStrong analytical communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial information into clear insightsAdvanced Excel skills with experience using Power BI (highly regarded)Ability to work independently solve problems effectively and adapt in a fastchanging environmentReady to Join the FunIf you are driven by using financial insight to support informed decisionmaking and contribute to the successful delivery of complex development projects we would love to hear from today and take the next step in a role where your expertise will have a meaningful submit your resume and cover letter to the link your cover letter please highlight your interest in the Senior Finance Analyst Development opportunity and explain how your skills and qualifications align with our note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check & be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of May-November.
