Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technician to support a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general surgical procedures and capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure proper setup and handling of surgical equipment
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team for smooth workflow
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Tech experience
- General surgery experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
- Ability to perform effectively in a high-paced OR setting
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
- AHA BLS certification (current)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
