Job Summary

Part-time Registered Nurse

Bishop OConnell High School seeks a part time Registered Nurse to join its Health Services Team. This is a 10 month position.

Qualified candidates should possess the following education & experience:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
Licensed as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia - good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing.
Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred.
Active Basic Life Support BLS CPR/AED for Healthcare Providers certification with hands-on training required.
Minimum of three years of clinical experience required with at least one-year of experience in a pediatric public health or school setting preferred.
Able to exchange accurate information in situations with parent students and other health professionals.
Ability to make good judgments and quick decisions.
High degree of discretion and confidentiality as necessary and appropriate.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Knowledge of Magnus electronic medical record desirable
