Responsibilities
Position / Department Purpose:
The Payments Intern will support daytoday activities across frontoffice and backoffice functions within StoneX Payments. This role provides exposure to payments operations FX execution support client servicing and commercial coordination contributing to internal workflows while supporting teams across the payments lifecycle.
The intern will work closely with multiple teams to support payment processing client activities internal coordination and operational processes within a regulated financial services environment.
Primary duties will include:
- Support paymentrelated operational activities including transaction tracking internal reporting reconciliations and issue followups
- Assist with administrative and coordination tasks related to FX and payments activities including maintaining internal records and documentation
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
- Support trading and execution teams with operational and posttrade processes linked to payment flows
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of internal and clientfacing materials including presentations and documentation
- Support client servicing activities including responding to enquiries coordinating internally on payment or account matters and maintaining service records
- Support tracking of internal activities such as onboarding progress payment status and followup actions
- Provide general administrative support across teams including scheduling documentation and adhoc support as required
- Support crossteam initiatives by assisting with process reviews data collection and operational improvements
Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
- Analytical mindset and curiosity about data-driven marketing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Early Careers Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating by 2027(entering penultimate year of university)
- Available to start ion 18th May 2026 on a 10 week program
- Must be fully authorized to work in the country where the role is based without requiring sponsorship in the future.
Working environment:
In-office ( minimum 4 days in the office)
