Goods In Operative Permanent Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a Goods in Operative role on a Permanent Full-Time basis in Value Centre Carlow.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Manage the receipt of all incoming goods utilising in-house computer system
Flexibility to multitask and work within the role including working in Chilled & Frozen areas
Accuracy and attention to deal is a key requirement
Stock control duties Rotation & Stocktakes
Process stock returns damaged stock and out of date products
Maintaining the area and keeping it clean and tidy
Assisting customers
Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date
Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety Health & Safety and Security requirements
Other associated duties as requested by your manager
Job requirements
The successful candidate should have:
Good organisational and time management abilities
Be a highly motivated individual who takes initiative with minimal supervision
Be dedicated and flexible
Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment
Have Reach and Counterbalance forklift driving experience and hold an up-to-date operators certificate preferred but not essential
A professional approach to their work and dealing with colleagues management and business partners
The ability to work with and adhere to standard operating procedures
A strong awareness of health and safety & food safety requirements
