Job Summary:

The InSpecie Team Leader is responsible for leading the InSpecie Transfers function ensuring the accurate timely and compliant transfer of assets across the platform. This role combines people leadership operational oversight and deep technical expertise to deliver high service standards for advisers clients and internal stakeholders. The role plays a key part in managing complex asset movements supporting business change and driving continuous improvement within Platform Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead coach and develop a team of InSpecie Transfer Administrators including workload allocation performance support and capability development.
  • Oversee endtoend processing of inspecie transfers across CHESS issuersponsored holdings managed funds international securities and platformtoplatform movements.
  • Manage complex highrisk or highvalue transfer cases through to resolution.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for inspecie transfer processes providing technical guidance escalation support and issue resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners including registries custodians brokers and counterpart platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls policies and regulatory requirements while identifying operational risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to process uplift documentation audit support and business change initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong people leadership experience providing coaching and operational support.
  • Demonstrated experience in inspecie transfers asset movements or platform administration within financial services.
  • Strong working knowledge of CHESS registries custodians and superannuation structures.
  • Proven ability to manage complex operational workflows and competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement communication and problemsolving skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong risk and compliance mindset.
  • Previous people leadership experience and exposure to international securities or operational change initiatives is advantageous.
