Additional Information - Job Description:
CFO Data Management (CFODM) is looking for an experienced and driven leader to join the Banking Products Team. CFODM acts as a bridge between upstream data teams Technology and Enterprise Capital Management (ECM) business functions to expand and improve reporting forecasting and analytics.
This is a Data Manager role within the Capital Banking Products Loans Team focused on supporting the loan / credit data needs of ECM (Enterprise Capital Management)
Responsibilities:
- Works with Line of Business partners including Compliance Audit and Risk to understandneeds and produce data solutions often times in partnership with Technology
- Identifies gaps in data management standards adherence and works with appropriate partners to develop plans for resolution including recommendations so that relevant risk and compliance policies and standards are met
- Analyzes emerging needs for data to address risk regulatory or business enablement priorities and appropriately plans for interim and target state solutions within data management policies
- Monitors key performance indicators and internal controls in accordance with established thresholds standards and policies
Key Job Responsibilities
- Provides people leadership and delivery ownership managing and developing Sr Data Analysts while overseeing and ensuring timely execution across production data delivery and strategic initiatives.
- Exercises independent judgment over priorities and risk balancing competing demands anticipating delivery and data risks and escalating issues with clear options and recommendations.
- Owns crossfunctional stakeholder engagement serving as a trusted partner build and maintain relationships across Treasury (ECM GLM BSM etc.) and coordinating with Technology Risk Compliance and enterprise data teams.
- Demonstrates enterpriselevel subjectmatter expertise in loan and credit data leverage and continue to develop knowledge of Retail & Wholesale Loans products and the use of this data across Treasury; Recognized as a key advisor within CFO Data Management.
- Leads complex data solution design and implementation translating business needs into data and system requirements evaluating sourcing options defining specifications and ensuring effective user adoption.
- Holds accountability for data controls and remediation driving proactive governance rigorous rootcause analysis and sustainable issue resolution in partnership with Risk and Compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in data analytics/ finance/business/ accounting or related fields
- 10 years of data management/analysis and credit product expertise within the financial industry
- Able to bridge business and technical topics into simple communication.
- Strong partnering influence and leadership abilities
- Time management skills detailed oriented organized able to balance multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Able to self-direct/prioritize tasks while also helping manage the workload and development of supporting analysts.
- Curious strategic and independent thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
- Proficient with SQL Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Capital Liquidity and other financial regulations
- Familiarity with Bank of America platforms / data eco-system
- Advanced knowledge and understanding data management governance and architecture functions.
- Masters degree in data analytics/ finance/business/ accounting or related fields
