Job Summary
Join the team at Burr Oak Lodge and Conference Center as a Hotel Prep Cook where you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations with dedication and attention to detail. This position is based in Glouster OH.
- Prepare ingredients and assist in the production of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist the culinary team in basic food preparation tasks including chopping measuring and portioning.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and monitor inventory levels to help minimize waste.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient kitchen operations during service hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
