This individual will be responsible for developing global services pricing strategies and recommendations for all budgetary and firm proposals based on current market conditions and business guidelines to optimize the price impact to the ONW business. They will be responsible for leading a global team of pricing leaders and for assessing optimal product fit and customer lifecycle economic evaluation and analysis to identify the best business solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Partner with commercial product line and marketing team to build forward looking global strategy for multiple services product streams including: new unit and installed base CSA parts transactional upgrades and Repower.
  • Develop commercial expertise across all core global markets product lines sales processes or customer groups. Influences policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects product lines markets sales processes or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • Collects and analyzes competitive feedback to better inform future commercial scope/pricing decisions.
  • Supports Product Line leadership with application studies and analysis to quantify customer and GE value of New Product Introductions (NPI) services offerings and provides input to the development of new offerings.
  • Measures progress / results communicates effectively to senior leadership and creates tactical plans to address shortfalls.
  • Leads several senior professional direct reports. Has ability to attract and retain talent. Often manages medium to large teams. May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements risk and/or complexity. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners vendors or customers.

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in Sales & Commercial Pricing. Knowledge level is comparable to a Masters degree from an accredited university or college.
  • For roles in USA - Masters degree from an accredited university or college (or a Bachelors degree with at least 10 years of experience in commercial operations and energy businesses.
