Job Summary
About the position
Petrolink Support is looking for an experiencedSenior Technical Safety Engineer to support relevant company functions in areas of technical safety and barrier management.
Contract location: Stavanger Norway.
Key information
Tasks
Typical work tasks will be
Support relevant company functions in areas of technical safety and barrier management
Conduct technical safety evaluations related to design deviations changes and modifications for operated assets and projects (brownfield/modification projects)
Review follow up and develop technical safety/Barrier Management related documentation such as philosophies design basis safety strategies performance standards etc.
Qualifications
We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:
Masters degree or equivalent
Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience within technical safety
Strong knowledge in technical safety/barrier management (Experience with PSA regulations and relevant standards e.g. Norsok S-001 ISO 13702 IEC 61508/61511)
Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
Proactive mindset with the ability to drive change and improvement
Capable of working independently and contributing to decision-making processes
Fluent in both Norwegian and English written and spoken
