Responsibilities

What Youll Do

  • Deliver evidence-based ADL training therapeutic exercise and adaptive-equipment education under the supervision of a licensed OT.
  • Assist with evaluating progressing and documenting personalized care plans for geriatric post-surgical orthopedic and neurological patients.
  • Educate patients - and staff when appropriate -on safe transfers fall-prevention and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain a safe therapeutic environment by following security and infection-control protocols and ensuring equipment is in top condition.
  • Communicate progress and changes promptly to the OT and wider care team to keep treatment plans current and effective.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring

  • Accredited OTA degree and active (or eligible) Ohio OTA license with NBCOT certification.
  • Experienceor a strong interestin skilled-nursing geriatric or inpatient rehab settings.
  • Ability to work confidently and independently while staying closely aligned with your supervising OT.
  • Clear compassionate communication skills and a team-first attitude.

Pay Range

USD $35.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
