Your part in our UnitingCare team:

  • Establish and grow a strategic philanthropy program across our private hospital group with a strong focus on The Wesley Hospital and St Andrews War Memorial Hospital.

  • Partner with clinicians medicalspecialistsand hospital leaders to create compelling philanthropic opportunities aligned to health innovation clinical excellence patientexperienceand equipment needs.

  • Lead the development and delivery of a longterm Philanthropic Partnerships strategy driving sustainable income growth and strong return on investment.

  • Build lead and mentor a highperforming team delivering a full portfolio including major gifts gifts in wills giving while living trusts and foundations PAFs and selective corporate partnerships.

  • Grow philanthropic and corporate revenue through highvalue relationships and multiyear donor pipelines supporting Board Executive and senior leader engagement.

  • Translate organisational and clinical priorities into highquality funding proposals and acquittals working closely with service and program teams.

  • Deliver integrated bestpractice fundraising outcomes through datadriven planning CRM insights stronggovernanceand exceptional donor stewardship in collaboration with marketing and communications.

What makes a difference for us

  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.This mayincludeaNationallyCoordinated Police CheckRight to Work in Australia

  • 10 years senior experience in philanthropic fundraising businessdevelopmentor related roles within complexnot-for-profitor corporate environments

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) with CASE or FIA training and membership of the Fundraising Institute of Australia

  • Proven ability to deliver income targets KPIs and strategic outcomes including leading complex projects or programs

  • Seniorlevel experience in large multi-streamedorganisations with a collaborativecross functionalworking style

  • Strong communicationand negotiation skills with the credibility and presence to engage senior stakeholders and donors

  • Demonstrated leadership capability including driving cultural change and managing priorities infast-pacedenvironments

  • Experience in corporate partnerships and philanthropic planning ideally withinnot-for-profithealthor community services sectors (desirable)

  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems with an understanding of governmentbusinessand organisational drivers (desirable)
