Speech-Language Pathologist at Metro Physical Therapy (Rockville Center Garden City Outpatient Clinic) Full Time w Benefits!

What we are looking for: Metros Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist.  This position is split between our oupatient clinic in Garden City  (3 days) & Rockville Center (2 days). Caseload demographics include: Aphasia Dysphagia Pediatrics School-Age Voice Cognitive Communication Disorders AAC use etc. We have just partnered with NYU Langone and will be building our outpatient clinics to fulfill their referrals.

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Pay Range: $75000 - $90000 per year
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (hours slightly flexible) Saturdays Optional

Qualifications :

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York 
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Evaluates a patients need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members Home Health Aides and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications (live course)
