Pay Rate:

• Local: Up to $38/hr
• Travel: Up to $46/hr

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Shift Options: Day Shift (7:00 AM 3:00 PM) / Mid Shift (1:00 PM 9:00 PM)
• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• Rotation: Alternating days/evenings with weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities

Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC isan experienced Anesthesia Technician to support surgical services in a fast-paced high-acuity hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Level 1 trauma settings and be proficient in assisting with complex cardiac and invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up operating rooms for anesthesia procedures including invasive cases
• Assist anesthesiologists with arterial line central venous catheter (CVC) and thermodilution catheter placements
• Perform efficient room turnovers between surgical cases
• Troubleshoot and maintain anesthesia machines and related equipment
• Ensure proper sterilization reprocessing and aseptic techniques for all instruments and supplies
• Maintain and restock anesthesia carts equipment and supplies
• Monitor compliance with infection control standards
• Support all areas where general anesthesia is administered
• Assist with high-acuity cardiac and trauma cases

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
• ASATT certification required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• 35 years of Anesthesia Technician experience preferred
• Experience in Level 1 trauma setting preferred
• Strong experience with arterial lines (A-line) central lines and Swan-Ganz catheter procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Must pass pre-employment health clearance
