Support Worker Supported Living (Complex Care)
Location:Birmingham
Pay:13.00 per hour
Contract:Fulltime 37.5 hours per week
Parttime and bank contracts also available
Shift patterns:
- Early / mid / late shifts between07:00 and 22:00
FitzRoy Support services in Birmingham provide complex care and indepth support for adults with learning disabilities and autism often with additional physical and mental health needs. We are looking forfemale Support Workerswho are caring resilient and enthusiastic to join our dedicated teams.
The Role
You will support people to live fulfilling meaningful lives by encouraging independence and helping them overcome challenges related to their individual needs. Your role will be varied and rewarding requiring flexibility patience and a personcentred approach.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support with feeding and daily living
- Encouraging and supporting independence
- Supporting people to take part in community activities
- Responding calmly and confidently to challenging situations
- Promoting a healthy balanced and fulfilling lifestyle
Experience of supporting individuals with challenging behaviour is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided.
Pay & Enhancements
- 13.00 per hour(weekdays and weekends)
- Public holidays paid at timeandahalf or double time
- Enhanced over time rates(over 37.5 hours)
- Sleepins paid at 50 per night
- 30 days holiday from day one increasing with service
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence essential
