About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and driven Junior Kotlin & Flutter Developer to join our engineering team. At Spero Healthcare Innovations we are dedicated to transforming emergency medical services and healthcare delivery through technology. As a junior developer you will work closely with senior engineers to build maintain and scale high-performance mobile applications that save lives and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development: Assist in developing cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and native Android components using Kotlin.
Feature Implementation: Build reusable code and libraries for future use ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Testing & Optimization: Perform unit testing and bug fixing to ensure application stability and optimal performance.
Collaboration: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from initial requirement gathering to deployment.
Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends in mobile development healthcare technology standards and data privacy regulations.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Education: B.E./ in Computer Science IT or a related field.
Flutter: Strong understanding of Dart Flutter widgets and state management (e.g. Provider Bloc or GetX).
Kotlin: Familiarity with Kotlin and the Android SDK for native integrations.
APIs: Experience or knowledge of integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
Tools: Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a can-do attitude toward solving complex logical problems.
Preferred Attributes
Prior internship experience in mobile app development.
A portfolio or GitHub profile featuring personal projects or open-source contributions.
Knowledge of local and international healthcare standards (such as ABDM HIPAA or GDPR) is a significant plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.
