Role Detail
With flexibility to be based in the Sydney or Melbourne CBD office reporting to the Head of Technology Change and Communications you will join the team that manages technology learning change management and communications for Mallesons across Australia and Singapore.
This role is crucial in ensuring the successful adoption and use of Mallesons technology tools and platforms. Your focus will be on using your technical knowledge and change management skills to help our people work and collaborate efficiently and harness the tools and information they need to be productive.
With specific expertise in Microsoft 365 tools generative AI (including Microsoft Copilot) and other core technologies you will develop and deliver technology adoption strategies to enhance digital literacy and streamline business processes.
The role will provide communications and change management expertise and support for high-priority technology projects and broader technology-focused strategic communications. Examples of projects include the adoption and ongoing use of generative AI solutions particularly Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 applications knowledge and data programs and the day-to-day enhancement of digital literacy across the firm.
In this role you will work closely with members of the Technology Learning team and other stakeholders to develop and execute change management strategies prepare and deliver effective communications (written and audio visual) and ensure smooth adoption of technology changes within the organisation.

Bridging the gap between technical and non-technical you will have a natural ability to make the complex simple. With many technology projects in the pipeline and the pace of change with Gen AI you will be at ease in this space and bring:
- Proven experience developing and implementing change strategies within technology projects
- Ability to analyse and understand the impact of technology changes on individuals and the organisation
- Sound knowledge of change management methodologies and best practices within technology projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication including with technology-related information
- Proficiency in tailoring communication to various audiences and communications platforms
- Ability to present complex technical information in a concise and understandable manner
- Highly developed skills in the use of Mallesons core software applications especially Microsoft applications (eg Teams Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Skills and experience using Canva Jira Confluence Articulate and related design and project management tools (desirable)
- Knowledge of best practice in user experience design including experience with designing and producing on-brand and engaging multimedia materials (eg videos e-learns online content)
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field - communications business technology or change management
- Qualifications in change management and qualifications in workplace training and assessment or equivalent (desirable)
