Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Muskogee is a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital specializing in the treatment of patients recovering from post-intensive care and medically complex conditions. Our hospital provides both intensive care and telemetry-level services offering advanced monitoring and support for patients requiring extended medical care. With a multidisciplinary team dedicated to personalized treatment plans we focus on helping patients achieve significant recovery and transition to the next level of care.

How youll contribute

At CornerstoneSpecialty Hospitals patients receive acute care from a physician-led care team specializing in treating patients with complex conditions. Our attending physicians see their patients every day and physicians with specialties in pulmonology cardiology infectious disease and general surgery may also participate in your care. Our nurses are also experienced in treating complex conditions and all nurses in high-acuity units are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Additionally patients with serious respiratory illnesses have 24/7 access to a respiratory therapist.

What were looking for

The Rehabilitation Technician Supports the rehabilitation team by carrying out patient care activities as directed by an OTR/RPT including safe patient transport treatment preparation and observation of patient response. Communicates effectively with therapists and team members follows written and verbal instructions and maintains a safe organized environment to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 612 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting strongly recommended; willing to participate in on-the-job training after orientation.

Certifications: CPR certification (as required).

Skills/Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication; ability to follow directions; patient transport and safe lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs.); observation and basic documentation; reliability teamwork and time management.
