Job Title: Registered Nurse House Supervisor (Quality Risk Management)
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Work Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Location: Tarzana CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a House Supervisor role within Quality Risk Management. The ideal candidate will oversee patient safety manage complaints and grievances and support regulatory compliance in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient complaints and ensure timely intake investigation and resolution
- Oversee event reporting triage and escalation processes
- Conduct and facilitate Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA)
- Develop and monitor corrective action plans
- Support regulatory inquiries audits and survey readiness
- Review medical records including mortality chart reviews
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with multiple departments to support patient safety initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care experience (required)
- Experience in Critical Care or Emergency Department preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality risk management and patient safety practices
- Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills
Certifications:
- BLS certification required
