Job Summary
Eurofins PSS is seeking a Purification Scientist to permanently work at a client site to support purification and analytical characterization of gene therapy cell culture samples. The successful employee will thrive in a high throughput environment utilizing automated and manual instruments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Completing purification runs utilizing Tecan mini-column or tip-based runs protein maker runs AKTA bench top runs or other approved methods
- Packing columns prepping samples running assays
- Documentation and data analysis interpretation and reporting
- Adapting to rapid changes in a fast-paced environment is essential
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology Molecular Biology Pharmaceutical Sciences etc.) with at least a year of industry experience in purification using HPLC or AKTA
- Strong pipetting skills
- Ability and willingness to learn and work with automation/robotic handlers
- Must have a strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data
- Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tecan or other automated liquid handlers
- Experience working in a GMP GLP or GxP environment
Additional Information :
The position is full-time first shift Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Philadelphia PA are encouraged to apply.
