Job Summary
The Finance IT Business Analyst main responsibility is to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit analyze communicate and validate requirements for change to finance business processes policies and information systems related to our global finance initiatives.
The BA should understand finance business processes problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
The role works closely with the IT build teams clarifying requirements working on the solution design and validating the development (SIT UAT)
Main areas of focus and accountability of the role
Serves as primary systems point-of-contact for our internal customers of finance.
Assists in analysis definition and then documents detailed requirement specifications for new solutions for changes to existing systems and/or new functionality
Ensures delivered solution meet the requirements and productivity levels are reached in an effective and efficient manner and maintaining quality performance objectives
Participate in preparation for solutions User Acceptance Testing and ensures proper coverage of test cases
Pro-actively & continuously seeks to improve the highest level of service from the application(s)
Effectively identify and escalate issues as appropriate
Supports effective release management with IT and ensures both implementation and operations are aware of updated features.
Work arrangement: hybrid in Madrid (45 days in the office).
Qualifications :
Education and Qualifications
Equivalent of a Bachelors degree in business management or IT
At least 5 years of experience
Proven track record in systems projects
Fluent in English
Ability to understand and document customers internal and external processes policies & systems
Broad view of the business with in depth understanding of business strategy operating processes and capabilities business process standardization enabling technologies and governance
The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected processes and procedures and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business needs
Strong affinity with IT finance systems and the related impact/benefits to solution design
Strong situational analysis and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
Team player
Ability to work well under pressure
