Location: UK London Area (Luton office as main hub)
Travel: Significant travel is expected both within the UK and across EMEA (approximately 50%)

Axis is strengthening its focus on the MultiTenant Data Centre (MTDC) segment one of the fastestgrowing and most strategic parts of the global data centre industry. To support this ambition we are now looking for a Key Account Manager End Customers MTDC EMEA to help build shape and grow our engagement with selected strategic MTDC operators across the region.

This is a new role offering the opportunity to build something significant from the ground up together with a small experienced and dynamic EMEA endcustomer team.

YOUR ROLE
As Key Account Manager for MTDC end customers you will take full ownership of a limited portfolio of strategic MTDC accounts across EMEA. You will act as the primary point of contact for these customers and be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the customer relationship from early engagement and strategic planning to execution growth and longterm partnership.

This role requires a rare combination of senior sales expertise strategic account management capability and strong MTDC market knowledge together with the ability to influence complex ecosystems without direct authority.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Revenue development & account ownership

  • Own and drive revenue growth for assigned Global / EMEA MTDC endcustomer accounts
  • Act as the single point of accountability for the endcustomer relationship across EMEA
  • Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and forecast in Salesforce

Strategic account management

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Axis longterm priorities
  • Identify and prioritise key initiatives and multiyear growth opportunities
  • Expand Axis addressable market and increase share of wallet within assigned accounts
  • Lead commercial negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements

Stakeholder engagement & ecosystem leadership

  • Build deep relationships with key stakeholders at operational decisionmaking and executive level within MTDC organisations
  • Work closely with consultants (mainly A&E i.e. Architecture and Engineering) system integrators distributors and partners active in the data centre ecosystem
  • Position Axis as a trusted advisor to the customer not just a supplier
  • Coordinate internal Axis resources across sales technical engineering marketing and segment teams
  • Collaborate with regional EMEA sales organisations and with US/APAC counterparts on global accounts

Execution & coordination

  • Ensure structured projectoriented execution in a highly organised and demanding customer environment
  • Maintain highquality documentation reporting and account planning in Salesforce
  • Provide regular status updates and strategic reviews to management and internal stakeholders

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

You are a senior structured and credible sales professional who thrives in complex international environments and enjoys building new business areas rather than inheriting mature ones.

Experience & background

  • 510 years of experience in sales or sales coordination within large international organisations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the MTDC / data centre industry
  • Strong background in strategic account management
  • Experience working with complex partner ecosystems (consultants integrators distributors)
  • International business exposure; comfortable operating across cultures and regions
  • IT / data centre / security market knowledge is a strong advantage

Skills & competencies

  • Exceptional commercial and business acumen
  • Strong project and stakeholder leadership skills able to influence without authority
  • Structured analytical and disciplined approach to planning and execution
  • Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex topics clearly and concisely
  • Confident engaging with senior decisionmakers and executives
  • Strong Salesforce experience
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages (e.g. French or German) are a plus
