Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry to join a dynamic acute care team. This role requires strong clinical skills the ability to manage multiple patients and proficiency in telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (permanent experience required prior to travel)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience working in acute care hospital settings
- Ability to manage multiple patients effectively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Ohio or Compact State)
- AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
