If you are a Production/Manufacturing Manager looking for an opportunity to grow Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based out of our Natchitoches LA location you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of night shift operations. Your expertise will be vital in driving efficient production processes and upholding our high-quality standards. You will lead a dedicated team of two salaried supervisors and approximately 50-60 hourly employees. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will spearhead initiatives to optimize productivity enhance operational performance and foster a culture of collaboration and safety for the department.
AS A PRODUCTION/MANUFACTURING MANAGER YOU WILL:
Lead mentor and develop a team of supervisors and hourly employees promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.
Monitor production metrics identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to optimize workflow.
Collaborate with maintenance engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal downtime.
Lead shift meetings to communicate production goals safety protocols and updates to the team.
Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure all procedures reporting and policies are followed and has authority to directly address or correct any non-conformance.
Completes or ensures proper paperwork record-keeping data entry.
SCHEDULE:
This position has the working hours of 4:00 pm - 2:30 am and is fully onsite.
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Eight (8) years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a large high-volume manufacturing setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational excellence.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
Strong orientation for continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate well cross-functionally and work well at all levels of the organization.
Resourceful proactive high energy results-driven.
Ability to work both independently and within a team generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word) and familiarity with manufacturing software and reporting tools.

PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
Three (3) years of experience as a Shift Manager in a large high-volume manufacturing environment.
Experience with lean manufacturing or similar continuous process improvement.

About Our Location
Alliance Compressors LLC develops manufactures and markets one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35000 square feet of office space.
