What this job involves

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical mechanical and HVAC systems (including UPS generators chillers CRAC units PDUs and switchgear)
• Monitor building management systems (BMS) DCIM tools and alarm platforms to ensure optimal performance and immediate response to anomalies
• Execute safe switching procedures load bank testing and emergency response protocols in accordance with SOPs and change management policies
• Maintain accurate logs documentation and compliance records for all operational activities
• Collaborate with client stakeholders vendors and internal teams to support facility upgrades audits and incident investigations
• Adhere strictly to health safety environmental and security standards at all times

Interested An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

• Technical diploma associate degree or equivalent certification in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Facilities Management or a related field
• Proven experience (typically 2 years) operating or maintaining critical infrastructure in data centres colocation facilities or similarly mission-critical environments
• Strong understanding of power distribution architectures (e.g. N1 2N) cooling methodologies and redundancy principles
• Certifications such as EPA 608 OSHA 30 NFPA 70E or relevant vendor training (e.g. Vertiv Schneider Cummins) are highly desirable
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays as required by 24/7 operations
• Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and clear communication abilities
