Sysco is the worlds largest foodservice provider and following continued growth and expansion across the Island of Ireland Sysco Ireland are now looking to expand and strengthen our Operations Leadership team by introducing a Head of Fleet and Facilities.
The role will also contribute to and execute against our overall strategy and continued expansion while managing operational plans budgets and performance targets.
Responsibilities:
Lead and drive performance of Fleet and Facilities team contractors and vendors in line with Health Safety/ Quality and Environmental policies/procedures ensuring all legislation/statutory requirements are met
Ensure co-ordination of compliance measures are in place for all contractors that attend site prior to the work commencing
Managing a portfolio of business-critical change projects across Fleet and Facilities departments
Financial control within budgetary remit contribution to Group and local operational efficiency
Coach manage and motivate the Fleet and Facilities team. Be clear on vision/goals and their respective roles in achieving these.
Establish/implement succession plans incl. employee training and development plans
Manage two-way Communication Cascade across both Fleet and Facilities departments
Lead and execute operational strategy in line with overall Group goals
Establish and review department operational Plans Budgets and KPIs/Performance Targets
Develop and implement improvements and innovations in service delivery
Develop and implement the effective sourcing and utilisation of materials and subcontractors
Continuously research trends to positively impact the sustainability agenda of the business
Prepare and manage monthly quarterly and annual budgets for the departments
Requirements:
10 years experience in relevant areas
Trade or Degree qualified in relevant areas
Lives and breathes Customer Firstapproach
Extremely organised & comfortable operating in a highly dynamic & fast paced environment
Confident & consistent communicator who has an ability to flex their style to ensure the message is understood
Proven ability in motivating inspiring leading and developing teams
Has proven experience in leading a positive culture by example and taking your teams on the journey with you
Is collaborative and yet confident to constructively challenge for the right result
Is commercially astute and highly experienced at successfully implementing change
Thinks big but is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
Has unyielding commitment to the highest standards of compliance and safety

Site Management and Project Management experience managing suppliers and contractors
Strong understanding of all legislative and technical arenas associated with Fleet and Facilities
Financial budgetary and problem-solving skills and experience

Commercial/sales performance drive; sets bold targets and delivers.
