Job Description:

Role Summary

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining repairing and supporting building systems and equipment to ensure a safe efficient and compliant working environment. This position is responsible for day-to-day building maintenance coordinating schedules and supervising contractor scheduled works.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections on building systems and repair as applicable (HVAC electrical plumbing lighting doors fixtures).
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests breakdowns and emergencies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and building system issues; implement corrective actions.
• Conduct basic carpentry painting and minor construction tasks as needed.
• Monitor building conditions to ensure safety cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance logs work orders and inventory of tools and spare parts.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors; oversee work quality and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
• Support facility moves space setups and equipment installations.
• Participate in on-call or shift coverage when required.
• Oversee on-site Health and Safety practices HSA and internal Audits and ensure alignment with inspection standards and compliance obligations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 25 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related technical role.
• Working knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and general building systems.
• Ability to read manuals schematics and basic technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Valid drivers & Forklift license
