Job Summary
SUMMARY OVERVIEW
TheGeneral Manageris pivotal in overseeing the airports overall operations and management. This position involves strategic planning and coordination of various departments including ground handling passenger services maintenance and security to ensure efficient and safe airport operations. Youare responsible forliaising with airline partners regulatory bodies and government agencies ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and standards. You will also focus onfinancial management business development and customer satisfaction to enhance the airports reputation and profitability.â
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeall operational aspects of the company including ground handling customer service and maintenanceâ
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfactionâ
- Manage and lead a diverse team of department heads and supervisorsâ
- Monitor operational performance against key performance indicators and objectivesâ
- Liaise with airlines airport authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and effective collaborationâ
- Drive business growth through innovative service offerings and strategic partnershipsâ
- Overseefinancial management including budgeting forecasting and financial reportingâ
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards across all operationsâ
- Handle crisis management and emergency response planningâ
- Foster a company culture focused on safety quality service and continuous improvementâ
- Manage customer relations and address escalated customer service issuesâ
- Direct human resources activities including recruitment training and performance managementâ
- Stay informed of industry trends advancements and competitive landscapeâ
- Represent the company in industry events conferences and public forumsâ
- Lead initiatives to enhance sustainability and environmental responsibility in operationsâ
- Perform anyadditionalduties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- 3years of experience in airport or aviation management including leadership rolesâ
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations operational safety and security protocolsâ
- Proventrack recordin strategic planningfinancial management and team leadershipâ
- Intermediate/Highly proficient Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
- Communicate effectively in English (reading writing speaking)
- Must have a valid state-issued drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic means
- Eligibility toacquireneeded credentials and clearances (FAA TSA Port Authority U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
