Attendance Officer | Leeds | Outstanding Secondary School

We are working with a school who are recruiting for a dedicated Attendance Officer to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time role starting ASAP on a 6-month fixed-term contract perfect for a practitioner who values humanity and academic discipline.

The Role In this vital pastoral support position you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to monitor and improve student attendance across the school. This requires a professional with a pioneering spirit who can manage complex attendance data with total precision while maintaining a deep sense of humanity when liaising with families. You will be responsible for conducting home visits identifying barriers to attendance and ensuring that very little learning time is lost for vulnerable learners. Your role involves providing the technical support required to produce attendance impact reports and ensuring students reach their highest potential by being present in the classroom. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a scholarly well-ordered environment and treats their colleagues as valued peers.
