Senior Legal & Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Legal & Compliance Specialist to strengthen the Groups compliance framework while also providing broad legal support across business commercial healthcare and regulatory matters. This is a hands-on role for a senior professional who can build structure improve internal controls support business growth and help ensure that operations are aligned with applicable legal and compliance requirements.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Groups compliance framework internal policies procedures and controls
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and standards across the business including GDPR IVDR ISO-related requirements healthcare-related rules and broader corporate compliance obligations
• Provide practical legal support on commercial corporate operational and healthcare-related matters
• Draft review and negotiate contracts NDAs partnership agreements and other business documentation
• Identify compliance and legal risks recommend mitigation measures and support strong governance and decision-making
• Advise cross-functional teams on compliance legal regulatory and business matters to enable compliant growth
• Support product operational and market activities to ensure alignment with legal and compliance requirements
• Coordinate with external legal counsel auditors certification bodies and regulatory stakeholders

Requirements

Qualifications

• University degree in Law (LL.B. LL.M. or equivalent)
• 10 years of experience in compliance and legal roles ideally in Biotech Pharma MedTech Life Sciences healthcare or another regulated industry
• Strong understanding of compliance systems business law commercial contracts regulatory frameworks and healthcare-related legal requirements
• Solid knowledge of GDPR IVDR ISO-related compliance standards and broader legal/compliance governance
• Hands-on structured pragmatic and business-oriented approach
• Strong communication drafting and stakeholder management skills
• Professional fluency in English and Slovenian
