Job Summary

Role Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable secure and high-performance data platforms on Google Cloud Platform to support enterprise analytics and data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end GCP data solutions covering ingestion processing storage and analytics
Design modern data lake and data warehouse architectures using BigQuery and GCP native services
Build scalable batch and real-time pipelines using Dataflow Pub/Sub and Dataproc
Establish data governance security standards and best practices for cloud data platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders engineers and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud data architecture

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
Expertise in BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub Cloud Storage and Dataproc
Experience with data modeling ETL/ELT design and data warehousing
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience with CI/CD Terraform and cloud security practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience

10 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
3 years of experience in GCP Data Architecture
