Job Overview

We are seeking an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with GoldenGate expertise to install configure and maintain high availability Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c) across dev test and production environments (Linux/Unix/Windows). This role ensures security performance and disaster recovery via Data Guard RAC RMAN and GoldenGate replication while supporting cloud migrations and application schema optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and upgrade Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c) on Linux/Unix/Windows.
• Perform database backup/recovery using RMAN and Data Pump.
• Implement/manage Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and Oracle RAC for high availability.
• Monitor performance; optimize queries indexes storage and AWR reports via SQL tuning.
• Apply patches/security updates (PSU/CPU) for compliance; manage user access roles privileges and encryption.
• Troubleshoot database issues; provide root cause analysis.
• Support migrations/upgrades (on prem to cloud or version upgrades).
• Collaborate with application teams on schema design and performance tuning.

Mandatory Skills

• Oracle DB Administration: Strong experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c.
• GoldenGate & Performance Tuning: Replication setup/optimization SQL tuning AWR/optimizer strategies.
• High Availability: RAC and Data Guard configuration/management.
• Backup/Recovery: RMAN and Data Pump expertise.
• Security: User/role management encryption.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation.
• OS Knowledge: Linux/Unix admin basics.
• Patching/Upgrades: Apply PSU/CPU patches and version upgrades.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnostic and problem solving prowess.

Nice to Have Skills

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS RDS for Oracle experience.
• PL/SQL development skills.
• GoldenGate for replication.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools.

Experience & Certifications

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) preferred.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication collaboration analytical problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines proactive and self motivated.
