OC Job Title: Warehouse Associate Rework Operator
SUMMARY
The primary objective of this position is to manage and safely operate the bagging and rework area.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with all plant rules.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Comply with daily attendance required according to plant attendance policy and maintain a good attendance record
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the Plant.
- Know location of all jam-up and emergency stop buttons and use of phone paging system.
- Review and Comply with established warehouse and shipping processes.
- Comply with inventory management including but not limited to individual pallet tracking cycle counts rework and customer returns.
- Work with other departments involved in activities relating to customer returns product integrity and production of finished goods.
- Ability to operate the robot wrapping machine.
- Identify quality and/or damage concerns and takes proper actions to prevent recurrence.
- Perform job tasks in a manor to reduce adverse impact to the environment and adhere to environmental regulations and recycling procedures for waste disposal and all chemical usage and waste.
- All other duties as assigned or needed
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance.
- Work up to 12 hours in hot/cold manufacturing environment.
- Walk/stand on concrete floor continuously for up to 12 hours.
- Safeguard self with Personal protective Equipment (PPE) - steel-toed shoes eye protection (glasses goggles and/or facemask) hearing protection and long sleeved shirt (with shirt tail tucked in) as necessary for tasks.
- Use cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties in accordance with all safety rules.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
