Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Assemble install and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components
Rig control cables linkages control surfaces landing gear doors engines and related hardware
Remove replace cut and fit system lines components and hardware for basic repairs
Install system lines valves ducts and associated parts ensuring leak-free operation
Use a variety of tools and equipment (e.g. permaswage pumps dies line cutting tools wrenches gauges etc.)
Perform minor structural and component installations
Ensure all installations meet quality standards and perform rework as necessary
Complete and maintain required logs and records (MIR sheets DMTs CRABs PCOs etc.)
Inspect own work to ensure defect-free installation prior to final inspection
Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with FOD and 5S standards
Follow all safety regulations and company manufacturing competencies
Support continuous improvement initiatives as assigned
May support aircraft certification and final phase testing including flight tests if required
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of aerospace/aviation experience OR equivalent mechanical experience (auto mechanics heavy equipment etc.)
A&P License may substitute for the 1-year experience requirement
Experience with Solumina and SmarTeam preferred
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
Ability to perform basic drilling reaming and fitting operations
Must be able to climb ladders/stairs work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to use required tools and equipment for installation tasks
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
