Summary:
Perform a range of repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
Assemble components such as modules boards panels drawers frames and cables
Work from diagrams drawings work orders and specifications to complete assembly tasks
Perform initial layouts using hand tools power tools jigs and saws
Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work
Perform quality inspections in accordance with specifications and quality standards
Disassemble modify rework reassemble and test prototype or experimental assemblies as required
Perform data entry and transactions to support assembly tracking and progression
Set up and execute manual and automated assembly operations and portable machine functions
Perform rework fabrication change incorporation and functional testing during or after assembly
Locate move and manage parts materials tools and assemblies as required
Use precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy
Identify and report issues such as part errors process deviations tooling issues and sequence problems
Perform basic machine maintenance (filters lubrication coolant levels etc.) as part of preventative maintenance tasks
Move product within manufacturing areas using assigned equipment and complete required tracking transactions
Support production flow by assisting training and coaching other employees
Document discrepancies in accordance with procedures and specifications
Train toward MVP qualification
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership (training provided when required)
Requirements:
Experience with drilling sealing inserting fasteners varnishing painting and countersinking
Knowledge of sealers and sealing processes
Assembly and sub-assembly experience
Structures assembly/installation experience
Ability to use hand tools power tools and precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Minimum 3 years of relevant manufacturing/assembly experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
