Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care in an Emergency Room setting. This role involves patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The position may require floating between units based on unit needs.
Location:Portland Oregon United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Float to other units as needed based on skill set and unit requirements.
- Gather and report patient data.
- Carry out orders and perform therapeutic procedures.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
- Drivers license car insurance and automobile for field work
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
Special Considerations:

- Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
- May be required to float to other units and facilities.
- Weekends are required at least every other weekend.
