Job Summary
Shift: 3x12 Nights 1900-0730 Floating is required if the unit has a need Weekend coverage - Every other (may change based on need) Unit will accept 1st time travelers depending on experience in specialty Must have at least one year of EPIC experience Omnicell - Medication System Certificates Required: ACLS BLS and SC state RN license Patient Diagnoses: 18 yrs Vent Weaning Wound Care Spinal cord injury. Trach/Peg. Special Procedures/Unit Details: 12 Bed ICU 31 Bed Med-Surg Unit Staff work both units Prisma Health Floating Policy for Contracted Staff Prisma Health s goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff regardless of unit or facility must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.
