Position Overview
The Legal Assistant will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with mergers acquisitions entity formations and other corporate transactions. The position requires hands-on experience with closing documentation corporate recordkeeping and electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign.
What Youll Do
Draft edit and proofread contracts correspondence and closing documents
Manage DocuSign workflows and signature tracking
Prepare and maintain organizational charts and corporate records
Assemble and organize closing binders and transaction files
Coordinate closings and assist with transactional processes
Serve as a point of contact between attorneys clients and third parties
Handle time entry scheduling and general administrative support
What Youll Bring
Experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary supporting business or corporate law attorneys
Hands-on transactional experience including closings and corporate documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office DocuSign and legal document management systems
Understanding of corporate records and organizational structures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
