Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location (Onsite Remote or Hybrid): Winston Salem NC (ONSITE)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Working Hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Total Weekly Hours: 36 hrs

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years of Experience.
Will take first time travelers: Unit WILL Accept 1st Time Travelers
REQUIRED Skills: IV Start and Telemetry.
REQUIRED Certifications: ACLS BCLS and NIH.
JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:5-6.
Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks.
*36 or 48 Hours can be Offered
12 HR NIGHTS
FLOATING IS REQUIRED AS NEEDED to similar units.
REQUIRED Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per each 6 week schedule .
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Pre/Post Cath Pre/Post PPM & AICD Watchmen Procedures Stress Tests Management of Arterial & Venous sheaths TIA population Carotid Stent Patient Management Card-Tele Management of Arrhythmias Management of cardiac drips: Cardizem Amiodarone Renal Dose Dopamine Lasix Drips and non-titrating Nitro Drips for stable CP NSTEMI Patients.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: CPPU is a 24 bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit housing cardiac telemetry along with pre and post cardiac procedural patients. Average length of stay is 1.8-2.4 days in length. There is rapid patient turnover on the unit daily. There is an ADT (Admission Discharge Transfer) nurse available on the unit Monday-Friday during peak patient transition times.
Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years of Experience.
