Job Summary

Job Title: Cloud Engineer - Hybrid

Duration (Contract): 13 14 Months

Client Location: Mechanicsburg PA 17050

Location Preference: Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Cloud Engineer you will design build and support cloud native solutions across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services enabling application modernization secure workload migration and DevOps driven delivery. You will contribute hands on engineering expertise to enterprise solutions collaborate with cross functional teams and support applied AI solution patterns including GPT integrations for real world business use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop implement and support cloud native applications services and APIs.
Build secure scalable and reliable solutions in Azure and AWS environments.
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure and platform services for modernization initiatives.
Support workload migration integration and modernization efforts.
Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and practices.
Apply software engineering architecture and SDLC best practices throughout delivery.
Support AI enabled solutions including GPT integration prompt engineering and intelligent chatbots.
Optimize cloud solutions for security cost performance and compliance requirements.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Azure application storage and networking services.
Strong hands on experience with AWS compute storage and networking services.
Experience with cloud native development .NET Core C# and Python.
Experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms.
Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps delivery tools.
Knowledge of networking and infrastructure concepts including DNS and virtual networking.
Experience integrating AI models and building GPT enabled application features.
Cloud certifications or equivalent practical experience preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
