Job Description:
As a Business Information Security Officer specializing in Digital Assets you will serve as the primary cybersecurity risk advisor and liaison for business units delivering digital asset and cryptocurrency products and services. You will ensure initiatives align with enterprise cybersecurity policies while enabling secure innovation overseeing third party risk conducting comprehensive assessments and supporting compliance audit and incident preparedness across the digital assets ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the embedded security partner aligning digital asset initiatives with security policies and business objectives.
• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments for crypto products custody models wallet operations and integrations.
• Oversee vendor cybersecurity risk from due diligence through ongoing monitoring and remediation.
• Translate security policies into actionable guidance for engineering and operations teams.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory alignment through effective control evidence and remediation tracking.
• Contribute to incident preparedness and response planning for crypto specific scenarios.
• Produce executive ready risk reporting metrics and recommendations on residual risk.
• Educate stakeholders through targeted guidance and training to promote security awareness.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Bachelors degree in Information Security Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or technology risk management.
• Demonstrated experience with digital assets blockchain or crypto custody/security models.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF NIST 800 53 SOC 2 and FFIEC.
• Proven vendor risk management experience including reviews of security evidence and contracts.
• Ability to assess risks related to key management wallets smart contracts and cloud security.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate risk to business and leadership.
• Experience supporting compliance and audits in regulated environments.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
