Job Summary
We are looking for a senior Siemens Opcenter Developer to support manufacturing execution systems (MES) within a battery plant environment. This role will focus on designing developing and maintaining Opcenter-based solutions to support logistics production workflows and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop configure and enhance Siemens Opcenter (MES) solutions.
- Customize workflows data models and configurations to meet manufacturing and logistics requirements.
- Support integration of Opcenter with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to MES applications.
- Monitor and optimize system performance reliability and scalability in high-volume environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations engineering and IT.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support including potential off-hours support if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience working with Siemens Opcenter (MES) or similar MES platforms.
- Experience with Siemens Opcenter modules (preferably EXDS / Logistics).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES) logistics and plant operations.
- Hands-on experience configuring and developing Opcenter solutions (not limited to functional/BA roles).
- Experience with system integrations APIs and data exchange between enterprise systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in battery manufacturing automotive or large-scale manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with industrial systems and plant floor integrations.
- Exposure to cloud or hybrid architectures.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site manufacturing operations.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions peer reviews etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
